Mine a NIP-13 nonce tag before events are signed through
window.nostr (NIP-07). Signed events carry proof of work that relays can use to
filter spam. Adds a delay to each signed event; higher difficulty takes longer.
Difficulty (leading zero bits)
0 mines until the timeout and uses the best nonce found.
16 is fast; 20+ can take seconds to minutes.
Kinds to mine
Comma-separated event kinds that get proof of work
(default 0,1,3: profile, notes, contacts). Other kinds, such as relay AUTH
(22242), are signed without mining so background signing stays fast.
Mining timeout (seconds)
Wall-clock budget for one mining run. When it expires the
best nonce found so far is used.
Test proof of work
Builds a throwaway kind 1 event, mines it with the current
settings, signs it and shows the full JSON. Nothing is stored or published.

overhead (patches timers, listeners, XHR; runs a rAF loop). Off by
